I should be trying to go to sleep, ready for work tomorrow. I'm only in for a couple of hours, but still. I'm wide awake. Maybe a little rum and coke will make me sleepy. Just enough so I know I won't be awake til four am. You know? Just the right amount so you're aware of it, but not too much.
My brain is already descending into randomness.
I just told Ian I was thinking about ninja squirrels. How awesome would that be, though?

Wow. I just had my first experience of grown-up excitement!!!. It involves shopping, a tattoo, and bellydancing. Here's the story:
I was fussing my baby cat on my bed, went downstairs to get something, came back upstairs and the little bugger had pissed. All. Over. My. Bed. The two quilts, the duvet, the pillow and pillow cover, the mattress protector, AND the mattress. So, as you do, I changed the sheets, cleared up the pee off the mattress and turned it over. IT HAD SOAKED ALL THE WAY THROUGH. -_-. Great.
So, today, my mom and I went mattress shopping. :D Mom was more annoyed that I found the shop more interesting than the mattresses. Hey, it was like an old church. Very high ceilings, big bark beams, gothic windows. But, I managed to find a mattress I liked, and paid for it myself. £89, not bad. I get it tomorrow. :)
Then, I bought the ingredients for dinner (I also made it) as well as a new, expensive pillow, and a cheaper duvet, til I can get a better one. SO comfy, I tell ya. :)
And, mum is back from her Holiday in Turkey visiting her friend who lives over there. :) She had an awesome time. Got bitten by all of the bugs in the country, and also got a tattoo. My FIFTY YEAR OLD MOTHER. On her hand. A heart. Rock on! :D I'm quite proud. :)
She also got me a bellydancing outfit as a gift. Well, more of a threat on my part. ;) I look pretty in it. :) She decided after two minutes that the finger cymbals weren't the best idea. :) I'll try and post a pic up here tomorrow. :)

Ian just left to go to work. He calls me his personal alarm clock/hot water bottle. :) I woke up at exactly eight am so he'd get up in time. :)
It was amazing yesterday. :) I got him to myself for the whole day with no interruptions. :) We watched tv, made food without burning it, and a whole other bunch of stuff that'd probably bore you all to death. :)
Very awesome day. :) And, depending on weather he has work tomorrow, he's coming over again. No work on Monday for him. :)
Well, I re=phrased that for him......you ARE coming over on Sunday. Heh. :)
He finds it amusing such a short person could be so terrifying. :D
It's just amazing connecting to a person like this. I never thought I'd trust anyone enough to open up to them like I have with Ian. My ex pretty much destroyed my faith in men. Turns out, his ex girlfriend did to him what mine did to me. So we know where the other one is coming from.
Oh, and I also had to tell him what slash stories are..........which he then countered by telling me there's a member of the 69 eyes he would turn gay for. 0.o
Me: So......you'd do a guy?
Ian: This guy I would, yeah. Look.
looks at screen: Well, I dunno I me- K. Do it and video tape it for me. Now?
Heh. :)

Dude? I don't think I tell you often enough how freakin' awesome you are. :) Your stories are literally amazing, so incredibly vivid and visual. You can picture yourself as one of the characters. And like any good story, it leaves you wanting the sequel.

Ok, so I have a problem I'm hoping someone can help me with.
I've not told Ian why I'm not currently at work, or why I've not been at work for the past month. I really don't want to burden him with this huge pile of serious shit when we've only been going out for about three/four days. (Feels like longer, though *smiles*) But I know he's going to ask me why, sooner or later, and I don't know what to tell him.
I've not even told anyone here about it, apart from Angelus, I think.
Ok. I'm off work with Anxiety and Depression. Yes, I'm only twenty, and us young people shouldn't suffer with that yet, but hey. We can. We do. We ARE.
Yep. I have medication and everything. I'm getting better slowly, but it just feels like it's WAY too soon for him to have to deal with this.
How can I tell him without him running for the hills? *gah*. Any of you who can think of something, please either journal comment or message me. Thanks. :)
(I know two people I may ask for advice soon. One I know, and one I don't, but her journal is so full of wisdom and insight, I'm sure she'll know something).

So, meeting Ian yesterday was...................amazing. We wandered around town, I pointed out all the cool places. Sat and listened to HIM in the graveyard. (The people in the cathedral didn't appreciate that. 0.o) Then, we went back to my house and flicked through this wicked catalogue of goth clothes he has. Trying to translate the German was fun. :)
Mum came home. 0.o I didn't have to worry. She LOVES him. She thinks we look like the couple in the Match.com advert. lol. She took the pictures of us together. She said she can tell he adores me already. Awwwww. She made him food and drinks, and, bless him, he sat and talked to her AND her friends that came over. They love him too. (They're like the spanish inquisition at times, only more scary).
We just sat together and talked, or just sat in a comfortable silence. He ended up going home at eleven pm.
We both agreed, it was The Most Awesome Day Ever. :)
I can't wait for Friday. He's coming over. :D

What are you talking about? Don't you know that all squirrels are ninjas? heh heh You should look up some of the videos on youtube and other sites, the only reason squirrels aren't the dominant species is because they can't run most machinery.
